September 22nd is National Falls Prevention Day!
September 22nd, the first day of fall, is also National Falls Prevention Awareness Day.
One in three people over the age of 65 will fall this year. Falls are NOT a natural part of aging, but are on the rise.
Please join us at the 4th annual Falls Prevention Awareness Day Fair.
This year’s theme is: Ready, Steady, Balance: Prevent Falls in 2016
Thursday, September 22nd from 12:45-3:00pm at the First Presbyterian Church on 233 West Ave. S. in La Crosse.
Learn how to reduce your risk of falling, what to do after a fall, and about falls prevention resources available in the county. This is a free event and does not require registration.
