Ingredients
- 1/4 cup Walnuts
- 3 cloves garlic
- 1 1/2 cups basil leaves
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- salt & pepper to taste
- Juice of one lemon, optional to prevent browning

Instructions
- Place walnuts in a small skillet over medium heat; sauté for a few minutes, until fragrant. In a food processor combine walnuts, garlic, basil leaves, olive oil, and salt and pepper. Process until a coarse paste is formed. Thin with additional water as needed.
- Add lemon juice if desired. Serve over whole grain pasta or spread on a sandwich or pizza. Yum!
