Smart Dining Guide

Do you think about where you can dine healthy when planning a dinner out? The La Crosse County Smart Dining Guide App and Coulee Region Dining Guide will help you make that choice when you are on the go.  Click here for details!

In partnership with the Healthy Living Collaborative, Gundersen Health System has gathered information on restaurants in La Crosse County that support healthy dining. The guide identifies restaurants by city where you can enjoy: Entrée Sharing:  Share entrees with someone else at your table at no extra cost. Lighter Fare: Half or smaller portions of entrees are available at a lower cost. Local Ingredients: Restaurant uses locally grown ingredients. Small Lunch: Lunch menu portion sizes are smaller. Kids Menu: Adults are allowed to order off the kids menu. Fruit/Vegetables: Fruits and vegetables can be substituted in place of higher fat side orders. 500 Club: Gundersen Health System’s 500 Club is a healthy eating program created by registered dietitians. The green to go lean “stamp of approval” means the selection contains approximately 500 calories or less and is controlled in fat.
