La Crosse County Safe Routes to School is sponsoring the 7th annual Wheel to School Week Challenge May 1st – 5th, 2017. To promote physical activity for all ages, students AND school staff are encouraged to join the challenge by walking or wheeling both to and from school. Those who are unable to walk or wheel to and from school can participate by walking at school as well as walking or wheeling after school.
To participate, complete and submit an activity log. Make sure to specify participant(s) name and the school name on the log. Logs will be used to determine the school with the highest participation percentage. The winning school will receive the Silver Spoke Award to display at their school until the next challenge period. Scooters and other great prizes will also be given away to individual participants!
Students and staff interested in taking part in the Wheel to School Week Challenge can download a log here. Completed logs should be mailed by Friday, May 12th, 2017 to
